Right of Withdrawal

You can conveniently return goods ordered from Barklin within 14 days of receipt. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, regardless of whether the return is from Hungary or any other EU country.

In the case of an exchange, we kindly ask you to reorder the new size or colour directly in our online shop at www.thebarklin.com.

Personalised products such as engraved ID tags, or goods that have been unsealed and used (e.g. collars, leashes, or accessories in contact with pets), are excluded from return or exchange for hygiene reasons.

1. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers within the European Union have a statutory right of withdrawal. You may withdraw from this contract within 14 days without providing any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Barklin Design Kft., Nefelejcs Street 13, 1a, 9200 Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary, Email: wuff@thebarklin.com) of your decision to withdraw by means of a clear statement (e.g. by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, though it is not mandatory.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.

2. Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than the least costly standard delivery, we will not refund the supplementary costs.

Refunds will be made promptly and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged fees for reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied proof of return, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the 14-day period expires. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if this results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

3. Exclusions of the Right of Withdrawal

• Goods made to customer specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. engraved ID tags).
• Goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons if unsealed (e.g. used collars, leashes, or accessories in contact with pets).
• Goods that are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
• Discounted, final sale items where clearly indicated at purchase.

4. Return & Exchange Instructions

Please ensure goods are returned in original condition, unused, and with all packaging and labels intact. We recommend suitable outer packaging to prevent transport damage.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including returns from Germany and other EU countries.
